Nokia Foundation Annual Awards Ceremony 2024

Nokia Foundation annual Awards Ceremony 2024 was organized 27 November in Dipoli Espoo. Highlights of the event included Nokia keynote speech by Sari Baldauf Chair of the Nokia Board of Directors and granting of 2024 Nokia Foundation recognition award to Dr. Kimmo Koski, Managing Director of CSC (IT Center for Science) for his pivotal role in enabling the creation of LUMI supercomputer and Kajaani data center ecosystems.

In 2024 the Nokia Foundation awarded 47 grants and awards which total value is 330 400 euros. In total the Nokia Foundation has granted during its history over 2000 scholarships, grants and awards with the value of the donations being 10 million euros in value.
